Original Animal Sculptures

I work in earthenware clay, wire, natural and found materials to create sculptures and figurines.
My creations represent a lifelong interest in animals, the environment and the natural world.
My method is to create a kind of three dimensional sketch which conveys the personality, energy and character of each individual.
I hope that my enjoyment of the process and appreciation of the subjects is reflected in each completed artwork.
Ceramic and Wire Sculpture
My ceramic sculptures are handbuilt in earthenware clay. I use traditional slips and coloured glazes and multiple firings to build up the desired colour and texture for each unique piece.
My wire sculptures are made from recycled materials. I bend, shape and weave each strand until a natural form begins to emerge.
